Anomalous Visions is the ruthlessly eclectic musical project of guitarist and producer Geoff Childers. Never content to sit comfortably within a single genre, Vibescapes juxtaposes the sounds of blues-rock, classic heavy metal, bellydancing music, progressive rock, and trance. Tying the project together against a wash of atmospheric synthesizers are Childers' soaring guitar leads which prize feeling over speed, and channel the influences of players like David Gilmour, Randy Rhoads, Ritchie Blackmore, and Adrian Smith.
