Dr. Derrick Gay started singing in the youth choir at age 5 in Antioch Baptist Church. He has been singing to the glory of God for families and performing in local churches across South Florida's Tri-County area for a span of more than forty-five years. His experience has brought him local fame and has finally culminated into an album worthy of high accolades. Dr. Gay was a pastor for Kabod Ministries International which now operates as a ministry in the capacity of "Reaching Out to the Least, Lost and Left Behind". In his own words... Being in the public eye as long as I have been causes you to look within yourself to discover what you're striving and enduring for. God's destiny for my life is finally coming to fruition and this project will be my catalyst to placing me where I need to be in life. The songs that were chosen have been a part of my life for many years. It touches people and reminds them of the church we used to have. They have been a blessing to me and many others. I'm excited about the project and thank God that He allows me to stay humble as my dream comes to light.
