'I'm Gonna Shout' is Lynn Stoneking's first Album release. Inspired by family and friends, she wrote 6 of the 9 songs on the album. With a rich history of growing up in a traveling Gospel music family, Lynn has made that music her own, adding Blues and Rock to engage all generations...still holding true to the 4-part harmonies. And yes...that is Lynn on the album cover. 'I was one of those tom-boys who hated to wear dresses...yet my mother put me in the frilliest one she could find. 'I'm Gonna Shout' was gonna be the album title and I thought it went ironically-perfect with that picture', says Lynn. 'RIGHT THERE FOREVER' (#3) is the song Lynn wrote for her husband, Thomas, and then sang to him during their wedding ceremony. 'CHRISTINA'S SONG' (#5) is a song Lynn wrote at the request of parents in her church who were going to have their baby daughter dedicated and wanted Lynn to write a song for the service. 'HOW GREAT THOU ART' (#9) is an amazing hymn written years ago that Lynn learned while singing at a local Nursing Home with her parents for elderly residents. 'That is where I learned so many old songs that I carry with me today. I will always picture those residents in my mind when I sing this song.'
