Dr. Susan M. Featro is a performing artist who most enjoys playing the piano/keyboard and singing religious, classical, Broadway, oldies, and pop music. She earned her bachelor's degree in music at Lycoming College and has pursued graduate music studies at Westminster Choir College and Portland State University. Susan has a passion for performing and teaching music. Education is also a passion of hers. She earned her M.Ed. from Penn State University and earned her doctorate in educational leadership with a concentration in educational technology from Wilkes University. She teaches English as a Second Language (K-12) in the Tamaqua Area School District and graduate education courses at Wilkes University and Concordia University. In addition to music and teaching, some other things that are important to Susan are: her family and friends, writing, InterPlay, traveling, videography, studying technology (especially online learning), stand-up paddle boarding, aerial arts, and living mindfully & engaged in this life that she loves.
