Lucidiom means CLEAR DIALECT. Lucidiom has been writing, rehearsing, and playing live since 2009 and have evolved into a definitive power trio. Combining several music styles such as rock, punk, blues, psychedelic, and even a touch of metal, Lucidiom is an all original, hybrid of sound. Based in San Clemente, Lucidiom was formed by local singer/guitarist David Haycraft whose first gig was at San Clemente High School, eventually leading him to front local, cult legends Sacred Haze and The Haze. Joined by fellow, SC residents Dominic Fontana on bass and Larry Hutchison on drums, Lucidiom plays original, alternative rock. The debut, full length album entitled, Flux was recorded in the fall of 2011 at Jasmine Studios in San Clemente, California. All songs written by David Haycraft except for End of the Road, Look Around, and Reflections, written by Dominic Fontana. All songs performed by Lucidiom. The lyrical content ranges from narcissistic self destruction (South County Outlaws, Questions, End of the Road, Antidote), self examination (Solitary Hunter, Ocean & Me, Taking Chances, Reflections), and culminates into spiritual considerations (Look Around, Late Nite Heroes, Oblivion). Although the lyrical content of the album and musical backdrop differs from song to song, the album flows conceptually with the archetypical saga of the anit-hero meeting his potential end and somehow rising above it through a subliminal spiritual transformation. Flux is exactly that, something transforming as it evolves. Enjoy!
