Pee Wee King wrote and recorded his monster hit, placing it on both pop and country charts! Major selling hit records were quickly issued by Jo Stafford, Guy Lombardo, Les Paul & Mary Ford, The Fontane Sisters, jazz great Anita O'Day, as well as a hilarious disc by Spike Jones and His City Slickers!
